im pissed that he lost his and my home state although i have 2 reasons why this could have happened 1) government corruption and tampering because electoral college keeps the rich in power =_= 2) people are voting strategically which in and of itself isnt a bad thing but the people who would have voted for ron should be more faithful
[sorry if my spelling is bad its 5am and im 13 althogh that says something about his youth base dosent it :b]
Ha! Touché my friend. And it's good to hear a 13 year old being aware of our government's corruption. Those two reason are pretty much right. I have a friend who was a delegate in Phoenix, AZ, for Ron Paul, and even there the voting was tampered with. In the forum hired hands tried to adjourn the meeting early, but thankfully the people refused and continued the meeting, though it wasn't easy to do. But in that section, after all was done, RP won it.
Knowledge is power. Our government is taking advantage of our ignorance, and had my friend and other delegates not known about the forum's legalities they could've easily been persuaded. Let's hope your generation continues to strive for liberty, freedom and knowledge!
I like and respect Ron Paul but I don`t honestly believe Dr.Paul ever had a chance of winning the Nomination much less The Presidency,I`m very sorry to say.But I loved that debate moment so much when Dr.Paul basically called Speaker Gingrich a P---y on live television.Gingrich is flat-out a Warmongering Chicken Hawk. It`s interesting,I could respect Gingrich more if he had said something like ''Military Service isn`t for eveyone and it just wasn`t for me.''I could respect it if he said he didn`t want to be in The Military and didn`t want to have to go to war and just had other plans for his life because even though some like to act almost like it`s wrong to say something like that there really isn`t anything wrong with saying that.I could even respect it if Gingrich even he said he was too afraid to go,because I could respect that kind of honesty(the atcor Channing Tautm actually said in an interview that he wasn`t brave enough to join The Armed Forces, when he said that my mouth dropped and though,I still think Tatum couldn`t act his way out of a wet paper bag with scissors in his hands,I respected Tatum`s honesty very much) .But Gingrich never said any of those things and of course,he wouldn`t.At least Gingrich could have acted like a man instead of using his family as an excuse for not going, lots of people that went to War during Vietnam had families, just as it`s true for Military Personnel of today.
But now that Gingrich is old,it`s time for him to turn into this big,tough,tough-talking Pro-War Hawk?Where were his balls when he was still young enough to serve?Don`t come back now talking all of that super-macho-tough-talk when you get old, like Dr.Paul and Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura said. That drawing you did of Gingrich as an overgrown, ugly, big, fat Baby is exactly how I think a lot of people see Gingrich. It`s certainly how I see him.He may be old,but he`s childish. The GOP is filled with Chicken-Hawks(The Dems have their share of Chicken-hawks,too).I love this art you`ve done! Gingrich is a condescending, lying, smug know-it-all who talks down to just about everybody.Again,I just think Dr.Paul won`t win this(sorry, just my opinion). But I take heart in the belief that Gingrich pretty damned likely won`t get The Nomination much less win The Presidency, either.I don`t respect Cowards and Lying Hypocrites, and Gingrich is both of those things,in my mind. He would be okay with sending OTHER people`s friends, other people`s families, other people`s loved ones, other people`s kids and other people to war but wasn`t willing to do it,himself. To me,that just says a lot about him as a person and it is one of the many things that tells me that he is unfit to serve as President Of The United States.Great Work!
LOL! My signature is making fun of those people put "I believe in Jesus Christ my Savior. If you do too and aren't scared to admit it then copy and paste this in your signature." as their signature. I just seems kinda pretentious.
Ah I see! Nevermind then. Ha. I've yet to see that signature actually. Well I've never been a fan of "do this if you believe in this..." They are about as ridiculous as chain emails. Thankfully most of those have gone away. "If you don't send this email in five seconds to five other people, the love of your life will vanish!" BARGH!
Oh lord, you actually support that Ferengi? Ron Paul's populist schtick sells to gullible voters, but in the end it's all a ruse to give even more power to corporations and take power from the people. No sale.
I think your confusing him with Romney. He's the guy getting all the rich guy endorsments and donations, in fact Donald Trump just endorsed him today.
Honestly, if he was a ruse, you would of seen them talk him up like they did about Obama. How he was the anointed one, the savior of this country, how he can move mountains and walk on water. And besides, it's not a very good ruse, it's taken 30 years to work, most corupt want fast results ( ex. Obama)
Yeah I definitely support him. I think you might be miss-informed. Ron Paul's stance has been the same since the 80s. His principles and voting record has been unchanging and unpopular (especially to the corporations.) I would urge you to listen to him more closely, especially his issues on Foreign Policy. Our policing the world is getting out of hand and should not be our job.
Why people take Gingrich seriously I will never know. Let’s forget the fact that the man cheated on his wife with cancer, and divorced her while she was hospitalized for cancer, and said that he didn’t think she was pretty or young enough to be the wife of a president (oh, and did I mention she had cancer?). The man received millions of dollars from Freddie Mac, the very institution that brought down our economy, and he also claimed that he would ignore any decision made by a “radical” judge. The man is a closet fascist. Enough said.
